The Mind Behind MCQ English

Hello! I’m Dr. Chamith Ariyarathna, the founder of MCQ English, a platform designed to help learners master English through real-life examples, interactive lessons, and clear, practical explanations.

I graduated from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). After completing my internship and working in the Accident and Emergency Unit at Colombo South Teaching Hospital, I served as a Senior House Officer in Surgery before moving to the United Kingdom.

I also hold a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Buckinghamshire New University, UK, and am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in surgery. I am a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the British Medical Association, and currently work across five major hospitals in London.

In addition, I am a certified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and the creator of the Language Hacking Technique,  a unique learning method specially designed for Sinhala-speaking students to achieve fast, confident communication skills through my famous “5 Sundays Program.”
